Wivenhoe GP Practice
Development work has started on a new Health Centre to serve the growing community of Wivenhoe and the surrounding area. The Wivenhoe practice was formed in 1985; it is a 5 GP practice that provides services to a catchment population of 10,000. The practice draws its population from 3 main wards: Alresford, Wivenhoe Quay and Wivenhoe Cross.
The Health Centre plans will include consulting and treatment rooms to house the GPs and 3 practice nurses, along with offices for administrative staff. The plans will also include a pharmacy.
