Directions to Lodge House – CO4 5NE

Directions (from London)

From the A12 take the A1232 Colchester North/A120 Harwich exit (Junction 29) and then exit again for the A1232 Colchester. At the roundabout go straight over, taking second exit (ignoring Langham sign). Bear left immediately on this slip road following ‘Gnome Magic’, Ardleigh and Hotel signs. At the T-junction by the Crown pub, turn right. After 350 metres, turn left under the A12 (signed Ipswich).

Turn left again the other side of the tunnel. Approx 300 metres, turn right into Lodge Lane and follow until you reach the sign for Lodge Park turn into the car park and parking for Lodge House is on your right.

Directions (from Ipswich)

From the A12 pass Shell garage and Little Chef on left. After approx 300 metres (almost opposite Shell garage on right) take first exit signed Ardleigh and ‘Gnome Magic’. Bear right at bottom of slip road and go approx 400metres taking first right under A12 (signed Ipswich).

Please note there is no access for vehicles off the A1232 slip road – it might look possible but this is a pedestrian access only. The only way in is via the route marked red on the map.
